"Hallelujah! As I lay my burden down…"
Those were the few lines that Momma [the "Momma" from the English 2nd Quarter exam selection] sang from Maya Angelou’s “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings”.
Those words, I think, are very much appropriate to what I’m feeling right now.
All my college entrance exams are officially over. I just took the USTET a while ago [Beato Angelico Bldg., 6th floor (!!!)], and the DLSUCET last week.
Oh joyful, grateful God…!!! Yayness!
Funny, as I took the UST exam a while ago… Well, guess what song I was constantly singing at the back of my head? I was singing the Egg Song the whole time!!!! It felt crazy, I tell you. I honestly thought that I was stoned. Imagine yourself trying to figure out which type of circuit was better, with the Egg Song as your background music. How…. romantic, *lol*.
Before the exam, I ran into Anna Rubio and Karen Cuaderes over at the Commerce Building while I was on my way to the Fine Arts Building. And I tell you.. my room was totally f-i-i-i-n-e!!! Oh yeah. [I can't elaborate. Might offend sensitive members of the...]
Anyway. I’m happy. I’m so happy that I’ve been singing the egg song all over again. I can’t stop. ["Can't stop, addicted to the shindig..."--Red Hot Chilli Peppers]

Dear Cielo,
I am going to miss you sooooo much!!! We haven’t really bonded lately this year, not as much as we had during the past… Do you remember our Grade 5 quartet with Kikay and Edj? We were so small back then… I’m going to miss your ala Dolby Digitalâ„¢ loud burps, your out-of-place-but-funny-btw quips during discussion, your pervy way of “harrassing” girls, your big red waterjug, your really cool quotes…
Why do all the GREAT ONES leave our shores? We are exporting our manpower… Our country is so hopeless…. I wanna leave myself.
Anyway, Cielo… Go kick those foreigners’ many-colored asses!!! MAKE US PROUD!!! Oh no, correction… You already did.
