I could have told you that I was joking.
But, oh!–I ain’t joking. Incubus does some weird rap nowadays. They even sang a cover of TLC’s “No Scrubs”.

Now isn’t that something?

I’m gonna start with those year-ender-list-thingymajiggers… I am suffering from an ambush attack of writers’ block [you see, three hhours ago, I started wrting this blog entry.. then I got interrupted.. And now, my.. uh.. momentum is lost. Shit pare, Physics!]

The D’Arvit! Year-Ender-List-Thingymajigger:

• I posted a blog entry last May 9, 2004 entitled, “DIE FPJ, DIE!!!”. Ooooh.. And guess what? [Yes, we all know.] But don’t get me wrong: I did NOT wish his death. I was speaking [err--writing?] figuratively. I was just expressing my utter disdain for our country’s electoral system.
• Girls are getting hip to romantic whore-dom. Yes, and I guess I am bashing my own species. From what I’ve seen this year, apparrently, more and more girls are.. uhm.. how do I say this without being rude?.. yes, they are the ones courting the guys. Please, if you gals wanted to desperately have boyfriends, then stop acting like sex-crazed, lovesick, whores! You have this thing called, human dignity for the love of Gollum! Sheesh!
• “Don’t ASSUME, because you’ll be making an ASS out of U and ME [get it? ASS-U-ME?]. That one came from The Queen. Elaborate? Just because he keeps on texting you, just because she treats you so damn nicely, just because he floods you with romantic comments, that doesn’t mean s/he LOVES YOU. There is a FAT line between liking and loving, liking and flirting, and liking and… politeness. Please, my lovesick fools, be wise enough to know the difference.
• Language Bastardization: It’s getting worse each day. I keep on having these “discussions” with various friends over the age-old, blatantly-annoying bastardization of our modern vernacular. Translate: “Muzta na u?”, “Sleep na me”, “Muzztah na po u?”, “Ei mizz u na po” “Der r meny tings in lyf..” “SuPaHH cLozze-uP!!!” One word, please: P*TCHA! Didn’t your parents even send you to school??!! For Christ’s sake, please! Don’t bastardize the language! We’re already living in a bastard country, and the best that you could do is to lay your hands off the language. The Philippines used to be one of the best English-speaking nations, but now? Man, we’re total suckers, and Asian competitors like India, Korea, and China are quickly catching up! We may be laughing at their weird accents and broken English right now, but wait a few more years and let’s see who’s gonna be the last one laughing. So as much as possible sToP rYtiNG LyK diZZ.. lest I shall disown you forever and ever [yeah, and as if I own and associate with people like you in the first place *rolls eyes*].
• TV is TRASH. There’s nothing decent on local TV anymore. [Yeah, and as if I had to tell you that!] F*ckin’ reality shows! Blatant copycats–most annoying! Don’t they even have anything decent, original ideas left? And all that jazzy crap with FPJ’s death–Yeah, like, do I care? And these stupid, gullible people keep on devouring these stupid media ploys in order to “entertain” the public. Hah. What a smart move. Which leads me to another point on my list…
• It’s hopeless: The local movie industry will collapse one day. Seeing that “Lastikman” poster, the one with Sarah Geronimo in that annoying “hey-look-at-me-I’m-a-cutie-damsel-in-distress-and-Oh!-Mark-Bautista-is-my-leading-man-and-doesn’t-my-pose-look-totally-snazzy?!” picture leaves me with a few questions: Don’t these producers get it? Singers were not made to act. Forcing a newbie singer into the movie industry is like forcing your Daddy to wear high heels. Translation: grotesque!

By the way, I’m gonna get a real Non-Pro driver’s license on the 28th, so please pray that I pass the driving practical test! I’ve been practicing a lot lately.. I just drove from our house to my grandparents’ house in Cubao. Tee-hee!
