D’Arvit!

I totally LOATHE that TV show, Encantadia. I can’t believe how LOW we Filipinos could get. I am so MAD. Roy gave me a better word, RAGE. Right. I am ENRAGED.
I’m writing this article on how that TV show imitated Peter Jackson’s adaptation of JRR Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, just to let off some steam [and to hopefully get New Line Cinema and WETA LTD. to notice and sue Encantadia for all their worth! *evil grin*]. The article will be posted on a separate site, as soon as I am done with it. I’ll just link to it on one of my future posts.

I loved The Last Unicorn when I was a little kid, and to find out that it was created by world-class Tolkien fan [is there such a thing, *LoL*] Peter S. Beagle made me really happy… Because here again is another soul inspired by the Great Professor Tolkien. [Included in the list are Gary Gygax who created Dungeons & Dragons, George Lucas who created StarWars, Terry Brooks of the Shannara series, The guy who wrote Eragon and started bashing Tolkien for it, Led Zeppelin who gave a shout-out to Gollum in one of his songs... and the people behind Encantadia--though they won't admit it. Hmph.]

I wanna move to Rivendell. But apparently, that’s quite not possible. My family might migrate to the States this year, around late June, though. But that’s not final yet. Isn’t it ironic? To think that now, when I’m finally happy with my college, suddenly, we leave. I am still patriotic, you know. I am still idealistic, [that's better than tagilidistic, said Gabbie-->über-benta talaga sakin yun, dude!].

More on this when I’m not too lazy to post anything.

PS: Looking for premiere tickets to StarWars–preferably one week before May 19. Man, I just can’t wait for StarWars!!!! Waaaah!!!
PPS: I know people who are named Bilbo [from LotR] and Jedi [StarWars].
PPS: Our doggie’s name is Jabba [yes, that's Jabba from StarWars]. She had a son and we called him Chewbacca–or Chewy for short. Chewy has been dead for many years now.
