Another “me”-related entry

Okay. I’ll just fill you in with what’s going on.
Monday: March 20– Stayed in Detroit overnight. Since our flight was totally jam-packed and rather overbooked, the airline offered people who were willing to give up their seats free food & lodging, $750 travel vouchers, and a bunch of other freebies. My mom was like, “Pam, let’s take the opportunity!” And I was like, “I just want to go home ASAP!” But oh well, we gave up our seats and stuff. We met a bunch of other Filipinos who did so, and earned $1,500 worth of travel fare.
Tuesday: March 21–We arrived in Manila, 10:30-something PM. Jet lag, tired. I hate airplane food. It makes me vomit!
Wednesday: March 22–Still sufferring from jet lag, I was instructed to drive my brother, Arjay to school. The traffic and the rude drivers gave me a little shock at first, but later on, I was back in my old beat, and honking away. Steph dropped by our house to check if I’ve arrived while I was away.
Thursday: March 23–I actually forgot what happened on this day! *gasp* I think I just slept the morning away due to severe jet lag.
Friday: March 24–My older sis Andi drove me to UP Manila. I didn’t announce my visit because I don’t want to look like as if I’m craving for my block’s attention. I mean, what am I supposed to say? “OMG, I’M HERE ALREADY!!!1″? I mean, meh. So yeah, I went there to have Dean Yolly sign my University Questionnaire, and luckily, my BSIP blockmates saw me. The first people I saw were Meg, and Mitzie, Nicole… then Jolo, and everyone else followed. It was such a great feeling–to be able to see them again, as if nothing happened. Everything was normal, except for the fact that they were having a hellish week due to continuous exams, and they were wearing their IP uniforms. Cute.
Then we had lunch at RP. Aww, the memories.
It was nice, and I had fun.
Saturday: March 25–PamS’ 18th! Party of the Year! *LoL* I had fun, and it was really great to see all my friends and classmates again! Check out my Multiply account for some pics.
[Yeah yeah yeah... I have a Multiply account.]
Sunday: March 26–Nothing much. Jet lag kicked in again. I slept the whole afternoon away. I was wide awake that night.
Monday: March 27–We went to the Embassy. NO, not at The Embassy at the Fort… We went to the US Embassy to have our visas changed to H4 and for the interview and stuff. The interview was fun because the consul was actually from North Carolina… so we got to laugh around and joke. Rarely do you hear of that kind of interview! We’re so lucky.
Tuesday: March 28–I drove myself to UP Manila in order to claim my UNC University Questionnaire from the Dean’s office. Vivette and Mitzie texted me and told me that they all went home, and I wouldn’t find anyone there. I was like, “oh, okay. Too bad.” When I arrived in school, Dean Yolly was in her office, had a little chit-chat [she even talked to my Mom on the phone! They were lab groupmates in Biochem! *LoL*], and off I went. I found Jet and Vincent waiting for something [someone?] at the end of the hallway. I ended up offering them a ride because at first I thought that Jet’s driver would be picking them up… But no.. Jet was taking the LRT and Vincent was riding the bus. So they hopped in the car, and it was like the old times again–me as the driver with one, two, three, or four blockmates riding with me. I kind of miss that feeling. I know I wouldn’t be experiencing that once I get back to NC. OH well. That’s life.Sorry for this sucky entry. I just thought I had to document this week’s happenings, in a diary format…
