D’Arvit!

The Baddest Word You’ll Never Know.

“And even though the moment passed me by… I still can’t turn away”

The title was taken from The Goo Goo Dolls‘ song, Name–which I was listening to, prior to making this blog entry.

So now I’m back in North Carolina.
And I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel, and what I am actually feeling. It is in this moment of pure insomnia, and slight shock that reality hit me, as Green Day’s American Idiot plays in the background: I’m REALLY in this American [Idiot] life now, and yeah, this is the point of no return… It’s a sad realization that hit me as early as April 7th [Steph's debut], while my childhood friend May Daquil and I were talking in her car on our way home.

Bago pa ko bumalik sa Pilipinas, adjusted na ‘ko eh. But then again, I came back. I saw you guys… And it all became harder again. :(
[Ok, this is really odd, my iTunes is playing Green Day's Time of Your Life... How so very...apt. Aww, hi Jolo! This is our favourite song!]

I just wish to thank everyone for making my short stay very fun and memorable! I will not say “goodbye” because I’m sure we’ll see each other again! ‘Til my next visit! I shall return!

  • Tuesday: April 4–I went out with my barkada to celebrate Micah M’s 19th birthday… It was like the old times again: Robinson’s Galleria, Auntie Anne’s, lunch, movie, bonding… I had such a great time catching up with everyone! Thank you so much, Micah, Eleni, Dianne, Riza, and Bea! I love you guys!
  • Wednesday: April 5Brewing Point with Steph, Rio+Ria, and Ia. I was late because I didn’t think the thing would push through…long story… But anyway, I missed the dear old place and the good food! I missed the conversations too! It was a great bonding moment. Later that evening, I had to pick up Arjay from Katipunan.
  • Friday: April 7Steph Luna’s debut! I rode with May and I’m so happy to see the IV-1 people again… It was a really nice debut and I am so glad that you’re so happy, Steph! :)
  • Saturday: April 8–Tagaytay with Nigga G! Thank you guys for having me there! I enjoyed a lot, as in! That was also something I really needed, and so, thank you very much! JB and I rode the LRT 2 on our way to Gateway–and that was something I really really really wanted to do again before I left, so yeah, thanks again! :)
  • Monday: April 10–Swimming with barkada at Dianne’s place in Antipolo [dapat specific kasi 2 ang "place" nya, *LoL*]. Got my transcript in MCHS and attempted to look for Teacher Ed etc… But they all went on a retreat. Oh well. Someday. :(
  • Tuesday: April 11–Gateway with Steph, Shari, Lil Bea, and Ia. We watched Moments of Love–a Tagalog flick, I know, but I’m glad I watched it: I got the best laughs from it! Laughtrip, sobra! After that, we went straight to Criselle’s surprise birthday bash at Ipanema… Another IV-1 reunion! Great party, great food! Happy birthday Criselle! :)
  • Wednesday: April 12–More errands. Actually, this is the last one… My mom and I got our International Driver’s License from the AAP (Automobile Association of the Philippines)–along Aurora Blvd. It wasn’t much of a hassle, thankfully. I was supposed to have a ‘date’ with blockmates Jet and Vivette, but then, due to many reasons, it didn’t materialize. That was supposed to be my last “gimmick”, but oh well. *sigh* There’s another time for that. :)
  • Thursday: April 13–Went on Visita Iglesia with my family. We were able to visit seven churches, Our Lady of Consolation, UP Chapel, Claret, Church of the Gesu [where I ran into Mrs. Derige! :)], Our Lady of Mt.Carmel, San Isidro, and San Lorenzo. It was great that we were still able to do this again this year. The Visita Iglesia has been a family tradition for around 24 years now… and it’s good that we were able to do it again before we left. :)
  • Friday: April 14–We left for Tokyo/Narita at 8am. :) Thank you very much to those who said their last-minute goodbyes… Daddy Jet, Mommy Mitzie, Meg, Tin-Tin, Tal, Vivian, Lora, Jen, Jolo, Vincent, Steph, Mitch, Shari & PamS… You guys rock. We’ll see each other again! *hugs** * * * *Special shout-outs will be posted on my next entry. It’s 3:58AM and I have to sleep now. :)
