OkGo at the VMAs
The first video is OkGo’s famous treadmill dance featuring their song, “Here It Goes Again“. They performed their famous dance once again at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. But as Newsweek has put it, “Internet Killed the Video Star”. Be sure to check out both videos. OkGo, Better luck next time.
/EDIT: Meh, YouTube has removed the live OkGo video due to “terms of use violations”.
Here’s the original video that launched the group to viral video stardom:

Both videos are cool.. You’re right, the recorded one rocks! I’m really loving OkGo.. They’re just soooo unique and totally different out here! Btw did you know that these guys went to Myrtle Beach recently?! They kick ass! I love them the 1st time I saw them (w/c was @ that JCPenney commercial!) wo0t.
PS: The thumbnail ljnks dont work. But the click here to download ones do. :S
OkGo’s pretty cool (and Damian Kulash is actually smart XD).
It’s just sad that a lot of people who discovered them through their youtube videos are labeling them as a dance group. I saw a comment once on OkGo’s performance at David Letterman’s saying, “They actually play instruments??” Haha.
Nakakainis din dahil hanggang ngayon ay wala pa rin yung 2nd album nila dito samantalang noong isang taon pa siya nirelease. -_-;
@Alice: Hey I discovered them through the JCPenney commercial! I saw that ad, and I just knew that I HAD to Google that song… So yeah. Btw, how’d you find my blog? So you’re from NC, too? Thanks for the comment, I hope to hear more from you.
@Teddy: I guess non-mainstream acts like OKGo wouldn’t really sell lots of records there? Or baka naman siguro indie yung label nila. :O Anyway they’re turning mainstream now, ever since their YouTube stuff, so ayun. Dance group ah? OMG.
I don’t know, though more people know them here presently. Before (as in mga 3rd yr high school), only a few people knew of them. Si Claire lang yung kilala ko noon na may gusto rin sa kanila. Haha. :p Hopefully, they’ll get more fans from the YouTube exposure. Yun nga lang andun pa rin yung ‘dance group’ notion.
