The Twister…
… that hit coastal North Carolina is far away from us. 
To illustrate, here’s how it looks on the map. I’ve marked the site of the tornado, Riegelwood, a small town west of Wilmington [where One Tree Hill is shot].
/EDIT: I removed the map. I think I just went overboard by pointing where I live and go to school on Google maps.
So there. We’re safe right here. I don’t think it’s possible for a tornado to hit our area because we’re pretty much on the hilly side–and tornados love forming on flat lands.
I guess that will be all for now. I am still quite busy with school because finals week is coming up, and the papers are all piling up… 
On a brighter note, though, I thought that I’d just share:
We’ll be driving to NYC on Thanksgiving break! Woohoo! I can’t wait!!!
