8 Random Facts About Me:

• My real-life friends don’t know that I go to online forums. XD While everyone’s so obsessed with MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Multiply, heck, and even hi5, I spend more time reading posts from strangers all over the world. Not a lot of my real-life friends know this, so if any of you are reading this, well, now you know.
• Younger guys are off my list–I don’t know, it just feels awkward. Ironically, I tend to be a magnet for younger guys. I am too picky–maybe I will die a spinster.
• I used to be a HUGE Hanson fan. Though I am quite ashamed to admit it, I don’t have any regrets. XD These guys have inspired me to get better in music. I played the piano better, and even got inspired to teach myself guitar [and a bit of drums and percussion] all because of them. I even drew realistic fanart of them somewhere… I’ll post it when I get my hands on that old sketchbook of mine. I was madly in love with Zac Hanson. XD That was around 7 years ago.
• I hate onions. Really, I do. I take them off burgers and pizza. Oh, and I also hate squid! I don’t eat calamaris. The tentacles don’t do much for my appetite [or lack thereof].
• My good friend Micah and I scored a 98 on our hard-metal rendition of Mandy Moore’s Candy on Karaoke at Ateneo High School’s fair, back in 2003. We were actually forced into it–sing or pay. Our “performance” was heard all over the AHS fairgrounds.It was my first time to attend Ateneo’s fair.
• I don’t think I ever told anyone, but I got “discovered” by a talent agent in McDonald’s somewhere in Alabang [in the Philippines] when I was four years old. She was searching for kids around my age to cast on commercials and TV shows.I got assigned a manager –He insisted on being called “Albert B.” Albert B booked me for over 20 VTRs and casting calls, all of which did not go smoothly. XD My worst habit as a kid was that I just refused to smile–I just didn’t know how to do it properly. On VTRs, there’s a part where the casting director would ask you to face different directions, and turn to the camera and smile. I just wasn’t a smiley kid, I guess.
• I get my best ideas when I am in the shower. I wrote a song while I was in the shower, once. By the time I got out of the shower, I forgot to write it down, and forgot all about it. XD Sometimes, I do remember them. Most of my graphic work and writings were born in the shower.
• I don’t like dancing on the dancefloor or at parties, but I love dancing in an organized performance [e.g. organized street dancing, or jazz, or ballet]. I don’t appreciate clubs and rave parties because I wouldn’t consider body-bumping or random swaying as actual “dancing”.
