The Baddest Word You’ll Never Know.

Inspiration

I drew some inspiration from these Roadtrip Nation videos. [Yeah, I also want to apply for a RTN grant, but I can't afford to spend my summer on the road. Also, my friends aren't interested in it, either. :( ]

I’ve been having these quarter-life crisis conversations with friends, lately. Most of you are graduating later this year [congrats, guys!] and for my case, I just had a change of career paths. Medicine is still my end goal, but as Julie said, that’s going to take up such a long long time. I really admire Rio and Ria. They’re the strongest, most dedicated, most focused, and hardworking people I have ever met. For those who aren’t sure about medicine, though, here are some inspirational videos.

They surely gave me a boost. I hope that they help anyone else in need of deeper discernment.

Interview with Dr. Jim Yong Kim - Physician, Founder of Partners in Health
Interview with Dr. Linda Li - Plastic Surgeon (seen on Dr. 90210)
Interview with Dr. Steven Rosenberg - Chief Surgeon, National Cancer Institute

… because we could always use a little bit of inspiration. ;)

  1. Thank you Pam :)

I know pursuing med will take a very long time but i think of it this way: pre-med is just a second round of high school and med proper is our college!! and we’ll just continuously learn and learn and learn..now that’s fun :)

p.s. I also replied to your comment in my blog..hehe :P

  2. Thanks for dropping by. :)
And haha, I never thought of it that way! True, proper would be our college. I was talking with a few med proper students last month, and they seem to be having fun! And they even have time to go to the gym! It’s like I can’t wait to see what it’s really like! In my case, I still have a long way to go. XD

Anyhow, I wish you and your sister the best! Idol! :D
