Straight Edge?
I don’t consider myself straight edge. I don’t walk around with black X’s on my hands. I can’t stand screamo, emo, or hardcore punk. I’m not vegan either, but being vegetarian for health reasons has crossed my mind many times. If avoiding drugs, alcohol, and sex makes me straight edge, so be it.
I still can’t stand screamo or punk music, though.

I agree with you on screamo; although, there a lot of great punk music out there. Try looking up different decades of punk. I think the band Devotchka is. Check them out. They’re great!
From the straight edge people (read person, buddy) I have met, you apparently need to perpetually seethe and mention straight edge at least once per encounter.
