My semester ended several weeks ago, April 30th, if I remember correctly. I wasn’t really expecting to take summer classes this time since I’ve been studying my ass off since the Summer of 2006 nonstop. And you know what I think about studying. I hate it. I don’t believe in studying. If a person were really innately smart, there really is no need to study. I especially hate those I refer to as the “book smart” people. They study soooo much, get awesome grades, memorize stuff, regurgitate material and all that crap, but when you talk to them about various things, like general musings in life, media, pop-culture, politics, art–basically on stuff that matter–and their minds are as empty as iHOP on a gloomy Friday evening. Bad analogy, sorry, but you get my drift. My point is, these people are only “smart” because they study. Outside the classroom–heck, even inside it, like in classes you don’t have to study for like English, History, and general aptitude tests–they can’t even form opinions and do poorly. That’s what I hate about these “book smart” people. They’re mindless drones who operate well on the Institution. They aren’t well-versed–they’re not at all “well read”. They don’t deserve to be called intelligent because their so-called “smarts” are merely borrowed from the textbooks they gobble up. It disgusts me. But I digress.

The fall semester’s looking a bit heavy from what I can see right now, so I’ve decided to take Research in the summer. It starts, oh, tomorrow evening. An evening class. Once a week. In the summer. Greeeeat. I’m taking Patho as well, since I do have to retake it anyway. I really want to raise my GPA, so I’m trying out some new ways to get things done. We’ll see.

* * * *

For the past few days, after going back and forth from HM to the BEACH!!!, I spent most of my time catching up on about a year’s worth of missed television. I finished watching the epic yet shortlived Sci-Fi series called Firefly [it lasted up to only 14 episodes before Big Bad Fox cancelled it], its spinoff big-screen bonus called Serenity, the infectious and totally entertaining Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, and the first season of Castle. The common denominator in all of these is actor Nathan Fillion. That actor is just brilliant. Aside from the fact that he’s the first Nathan I’ve ever known who isn’t an asshole [enter snickers and lols here], the guy’s just really really good. And hi-larious.

* * * *

Also, last night, I finally saw the unofficial LOTR fan-made film, “The Hunt for Gollum”. It’s surprisingly very good. For a fan-made film, it’s AMAZING. It looks just like the ones New Line made. The fans based it off the stuff from the appendices, when Aragorn and Gandalf looked for Gollum. It happens before the Fellowship of the Ring. They only spent $4000 on it & nobody got paid. It’s made by fans, after all. It’s only about 40 minutes. Click here to see it.

As my friend pointed out, “The Hunt for Gollum” isn’t entirely accurate, but the general plot sticks to what happened [according to what Gandalf told the Hobbits in RoTK and the stuff I've looked at on the appendices, History of Middle-earth & The Unfinished Tales].

This whole thing now makes me think of the future of film. First off, we’ve witnessed the huge success of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog as a purely web-distributed work. The continued success of films for the web may perhaps open up to a brand new business model for distributors and filmmakers alike. I know that this isn’t a new thing, especially with the rising popularity of the indie film scene, but mainstream cinema is dying… would people now turn to the Internet?

Anyway, enough rambling for now. So go and watch it!

* * * *

And lastly, I just want to post this here:

Yeah, I admit, the title is a pretty lame play on Figwit, but the famous web comic Waiting For Frodo has always been great. It had to end, of course, yet hope remains in its newly launched spinoff: Waiting for Bilbo.

I can’t wait to see what happens next! I hope that this is as brilliant as the Frodo one!

Oh, by the way, moar Hobbit movie news:

Bilbo Baggins casting rumors!

There have been tons rumored actors to play the young Bilbo Baggins so far, but the most popular ones have been:

[L-R: Jack Black, James McAvoy, Martin Freeman, and Daniel Radcliffe]

I’d rather they took an unknown actor, really. If they were to choose from any of those actors, I’d go for Martin Freeman. The guy looks an awful lot like a Hobbit and would definitely pass for a younger version of Sir Ian Holm. Daniel Radcliffe is too young and too Harry Potter; James McAvoy is a brilliant actor, yet I associate him with Nicholas and Mr. Tumnus too much and I don’t think that another fantasy flick would do him good anyway; Jack Black is made of Awesome and Rock, but that’s the problem, really: he’s too much of a funny man. I bet he could even play Peter Jackson if ever PJ needed an actor to play him in his biopic.

Either way, I just can’t wait to see how director Guilermo Del Toro is going to get this Hobbit on the move! It’s been YEARS since that last LOTR film. I just can’t wait to see this Hobbit movie. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

Frodo Baggins: I can’t do this Sam.

Sam Gamgee: I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo: What are we holding on to Sam?

Sam: That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo… and it’s worth fighting for.
— The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

And I really wish that things [and Life, in general] are as simple as LOTR movie quotes.

Real-life problems suck.

Finally, the highly anticipated Stardust trailer premiered today on Yahoo! Movies.

Neil Gaiman blogged about it just an hour ago. [the man beat me by more than an hour. Screw my English research project! ]

I actually first saw the trailer a good two hours ago on Entertainment Tonight‘s featured upcoming films to watch out for.

My mom, who never was a fan of what we could call “fantasy” was impressed by the trailer.

“It looks like it’s going to be a great movie,” she said in amazement. “What movie is that?”

“It’s Stardust,” I told her. “Do you recall the book I recently bought at Barnes & Noble?”

“Ah, yes.”

I really do hope that it’s going to be a great movie!

I mean, yeah, the trailer showed signs that a LOT of things were changed, but hey, as long as the central story is preserved and is successfully translated into film, then it’s fine with me.

Although a star-studded [no pun intended] cast would not assure a major hit, I think that this film is rather looking… bright [with pun intended]. The worst thing to happen to Stardust is for it to turn into another major floppidocio: Eragon.

* * * * *

Currently, I’m doing some research for the most bizarre beliefs ever. I’m supposed to set up an argumentative paper that disproves such bizarre beliefs. I’m actually at a loss on which belief to pick… I know that I can’t pick the Flat Earth Society‘s belief, the Hollow Earth theories [hey, this would work well for Artemis Fowl fans!], the Apollo Moon Landing hoax, the AIDS conspiracy theories, or the Holocaust denial because these have already been mentioned as examples.

Oh well, gotta search the web. *wink*

We drove to South Carolina this Christmas, and we visited Atlanta, Georgia, in the process. Dad loved Atlanta; I on the other hand is still clinging to ditzy, urban New York [I have yet to find a better city to win my affections ].

On Americans and Filipinos

Though I still think that most Americans I encounter in real life [those I rub elbows with online are mostly smart ones, though, so don't take offense, my American readers! ] are quite stupid [hence, my famous quote, "Stupid Americans!"--Me], I do not classify myself as anti-American. There is just so much to love and hate in this country… It kind of reminds me of my own home, the Philippines, actually–the urban parts and the crappy government, at least. And oh, the Philippines is far superior when it comes to malls, shopping, nightlife, hardworking students, and natural ingenuity [sorry, that's what we get from being Third World]. I must say, however, that the people down south are really friendly too [well, most of them are]. People have been asking me if I have ever experienced some racism here, and yes, I have. I guess that’s one thing that this nation would be battling with for a long time. I mean, the segregations have ended only recently, and there is currently still evidence of hostility against immigrants [specifically, against the Latinos] and there are still strong stereotypes against Asians.

“Oh my gosh, you speak excellent English!” said the hairstylist who cut my hair a few weeks ago. “Did you have to learn it when you got here?”

“Thanks, but no, English is a major language in the Philippines. We have all been taught English in school, and we do speak English at home, too, ever since we were little kids.”

“Wow.”

I wanted to add how Filipinos value education, or how almost everyone in Manila is a professional, but I was afraid that I would sound too cocky and preachy. There would be more chances to break negative Filipino stereotypes, I thought.

I think that is the reason why I always make it a point to look better, be smarter, and work harder than everyone else. It is in becoming a positive example that somehow, these people would abandon the bad press and their pre-conceived notions, and see that we Filipinos could be so much more. I’m going to quote something I wrote in a forum a long time ago, that I hope my non-Filipino readers would read:

Yes, tourism isn’t as strong here. Bad press, I guess, has been a major factor why tourism isn’t really doing much for the country. [Screw Abu Sayyaf! Screw them!] There are many beautiful places in the Philippines.. 7,107 islands, and most of these islands have not yet been explored. Despite current tourism efforts, political problems have always been the focus of the government, which in turn, puts a damper on tourism.

The Philippines’ main exports are its people. More and more Filipinos leave their country’s shores in search of “greener pastures” aboad. At first, the country just started “exporting” cheap labor.. But lately, even the country’s best and brightest minds have been abandoning the country: teachers, nurses, doctors, engineers, physical therapists, pharmacists, and other professionals… All the bright minds are leaving the country, no wonder our country is suffering. Ironically, due to dollar remittances brought back to the country, this “export” of people is the Philippines’ billion-dollar industry. It’s the very thing that supports our economy, at the moment.

That’s why I plan on returning there. My country needs me. ^_^

The reason why the Philippines is not as successful as its richer neighbors in Asia and the Pacific could not be easily explained. I was born and raised there, and until now, I have not found one clear-cut reason for my country’s hardships.

Could it be that the Philippines has been robbed off its dignity and self-worth because it has been colonized for 333+ years under Spain, and 50+ years under America? It is this “colonial mentality” that has plagued the Filipino people’s psyche. Most Filipinos do not believe in themselves, and national pride is always low.

Could it be because the country is very corrupt? It has not always been so. During the early 1960′s, under the leadership of then President Ferdinand Marcos, the Philippines was the ranked number 2 after Japan, as Asia’s best economy. When President Marcos declared Martial Law and became Dictator, things have begun to go downhill after that.

I could launch into a very long discourse on the psychology of the Filipino mind, but I think I will start to bore you guys to death. My bottom line is: the Philippines is a beautiful country. It’s a pity that it’s misunderstood and mishandled. To quote illini319, yes, it’s a tragedy.

Neil Gaiman, Libba Bray, and an Open Letter to Eoin Colfer

After that all said and done, let’s jump to another topic. [This entry is starting to look like an Inquirer Lifestyle/Opinion column--a mash-up of different topics!]

I got myself a new Coach wallet and Stardust by Neil Gaiman for Christmas [a beautiful book! About time I got one for myself!]. As I was browsing around Neil Gaiman’s blog, I saw an entry about the upcoming Stardust movie.

Now this is what I love about Neil Gaiman: through his own blog, he lets fans take a glimpse of his work. From his many a “bloody”-laden rants, to book/movie/script news and random ramblings, he definitely has made it a point to be available to his fans, albeit on his blog. He has become more accessible, and actually, more real and human.

Speaking of human emotions in famous authors’ blogs, take a look at A Great and Terrible Beauty author Libba Bray, who has her own LJ account [complete with "Current Music", and "Current Mood" indicators, awesome]! It’s as real as it gets, which I find amazing! Here is an author who has gone to get her own LJ account just like any other regular human being. She updates it when she can, and when she does, her entries are what she really is: human.

With just rumours about the Artemis Fowl movie circling around the Net, I just made this open letter to Eoin Colfer out of the blue:

Dear Mr. Colfer,

Your books are awesome.
What is up with the movie?
Do put up a blog to keep us updated.
Surely, you do have a blog on the official UK Artemis Fowl site, but it would be cool if it were more personal and up-to-date.

Later,
Pam

PS: Sorry I stole your word and turned it into a blog. Please don’t sue me, ok?

Kidding! Of course I would never send him that letter! [But thanks to Google, he could probably find it if he practised the art of self-Googling™]

My point is, can’t he disclose just a little bit more on the status of the AF movie?
[Is there going to be one at all? Can you do a bit of name-dropping? Are there legal problems--is this the reason why everything has been so slow?]

What I love about the Neil Gaiman & Libba Bray is that they have willingly made themselves available to the fans by means of a simple online journal. It has benefitted them as much as it has made the fans extremely happy.

Would Colfer follow suit?

I was finally able to rent Neil Gaiman’s Mirrormask, and I can say that it is definitely a great film!

The whole film experience was very much like reading a graphic novel. The film’s art is reminiscent of illustrations in Gaiman’s earlier works such as The Sandman, and Coraline: dreamy, surreal, and fantastic. Mirrormask is not your usual flashy and colorful fantasy film. Instead, it is a hazy, phantasmagorical escapade into the life of Helena and the world that she created: strange creatures, fantastic worlds, and odd characters blend and merge into this new dimension.

Helena is transported into her drawings and takes responsibility as the reluctant heroine tasked to find the magical Mirrormask that would restore balance in the alternate world. She battles her own inner demons as she outwits a riddling sphinx, outruns carnivorous cat-like mutants, and sees herself through the windows of her alternate universe.

Mirrormask is not your usual hackneyed box-office flick. Its dark colours, textures, and imagery is a breath of fresh air–a blinding light in this jaded, saturated, Hollywood world. It’s a must-see for Gaiman fans, and film lovers everywhere.

I just saw the trailer/teaser for C.S. Lewis‘ The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe on Disney Channel a while ago! [Thank God for CableTV.]

I had goosebumps. And you know what, I’ve NEVER had goosebumps over ANY movie trailer–well since The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King came out [do you notice how these guys just love using semi-coloned, sub-titled, movie titles? What is up with that? *LoL*].

Oooh, I just remembered the trailer all over again.

*shivers*

It’ll be showing in the Philippines on January 8, 2006. Singapore’s opening would be on December 8, 2005, so my best bet would be it would open in the US somewhere around December this year [or earlier--I dunno].

Wheee! I’m so happy!

****

YESTERDAY: JB and I went on an “adventure”: THRIFT shopping at Kamuning! I’ve always wanted to do that kind of Lifestyle Network-”Shabby Chic”-thing. Old stuff are really nice to look at. Old bottles, old “I ? MARCOS TOLENTINO” campaign pin buttons, old StarWars action figures, Limited Edition Coca-Cola merchandise, old retro jewelry, swords/knives… the works! It’s really interesting, actually. I got myself a silver marijuana pendant, a bargain for 150 bucks [the guys at Silverworks would rip you off with a smaller pendant at around 250-300 bucks].
Then after the antique shop tripping, we rode a cab to UP Diliman. I went in the Math Building for the first time, *tear*. Haha! Then we rode the IKOT/TOKI. That was my first time to ride it, *tear*. And then we passed by an isawan, and yeah, you guessed it: I ate isaw for the first time. *more tears* Haha, OA eh. But ’twas fun. I’m so happy I was able to try out these things before I leave for the US. Haaay. I had fun, JB. Thanks a lot!

TOMORROW: I have to help up with the cooking and fixing here at home, and later on, when I’m free in the afternoon, we’ll be hanging out at Steph‘s place.. Then there’s a thingy for my Dad here at home… Can’t wait!

SATURDAY: IV-1 get-together at *drumroll please* Mickey D’s, Katipunan [wow, what's new? *LoL*]. I caaaaan’t waaaait!!! Man, I miss those guys!

NEXT WEEK [maybe Wednesday]: Guia suggested that we go drop by the Magnificat meeting and just say hi. Yeah, I wanna see MC once again. I miss that place.

Stupid school. Hrrrrgh.

But the worst HELLISH week is yet to come.

*sigh*

Why are they making it so difficult for us? Arrgh…

Damn.

I am in no mood to write… I’ll just link you to Julie‘s blog. She wrote something about how frustrating some monsters in school have been acting.

I did a marathon composition a while ago and I am just so D-R-A-I-N-E-D.

Damn.

Damn it, I should stop swearing.

Damn.

Arrgh.

* * * * *

I’m gonna post this song… I think this is rally nice.. I totally love old-school rock. Here is Gin Blossoms‘ Found Out About You. I bet almost everyone *could* relate with this… somehow…

NOTE: The chords are really easy! C-D-Em all the way [well, there's some variation with the plucking, though]! I’ll post the tabs for the plucking the next time I’m not as lazy and sleepy.

All last summer in case you don’t recall,
I was yours and you were mine forget it all
Is there a line I could write, sad enough to make you cry
All the lines you wrote to me were lies

The months roll past the love that you struck dead
Did you love me only in my head?
Things you said and did to me, seemed to come so easily
The love I thought I’d won you give for free.

Whispers at the bus stop, I heard about
Nights out in the school yard, I found out about you

Rumors follow wherever you go,
Like when you left and I was last to know
You’re famous now and there’s no doubt,
In all the places you hang out,
They know your name and know what you’re about.

Whispers at the bus stop, I heard about
Nights out in the school yard, I found out about you

Street lights blink on through the car window
I get the time too often on the AM radio
You know it’s all I think about,
I write your name drive past your house,
Your boyfriend’s over, I watch the lights go out.

Whispers at the bus stop, I heard about
Nights out in the school yard, I found out about you.

* * * *

I WANNA WATCH A Series of Unfortunate Events! I’ve only read TWO out of the NINE books [or were they all ELEVEN books? I forgot, *Lol*]… But anyway, I think SUNNY is the cutest baby! Even my Mom thinks Sunny is cute, *LoL*. We were supposed to go to Eastwood [again] a while ago, but anyway, my parents didn’t really want us to.

In other news, the ravaging renovation in my house is almost over [I hope]. Dust is everywhere–on the floor, on my stuff… I keep on cleaning up, but the hammering and the ravagin [ok, wrong word..] just keeps on spreading the dust and concrete everywhere! Damn!
Now don’t look at me silly.

That was Dominic Monaghan‘s weird “talk show” title when he conducted this sort-of… “interview” with Elijah Wood, as shown in the Extended Edition DVD of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King [*rotflmao*, I'm not bragging since I don't think anyone else wants to own that DVD... well aside from co-Middle Earthling, May].

Anyway… I’m in no mood to write, so pardonéz-moi if this piece comes out crappily… I just have to do this update. Hehe, right, Julie?

[WARNING: A VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY LOOOOOONG BLOG ENTRY AHEAD.]

D’Arvit!‘s Year-Ender-List-Thingymajigger Part II:

College Frenzy. Miriam College is a so-called “premiere college preparatory institution.. blah blah blah.. I’m such a kick-ass school… yadeeyah..”, thus, our dear (tor)mentors justify their sadistic acts by repeating their age-old adage: “We’re preparing you for college.” Preparing us for college?? How many students passed the UPCAT from last year’s batch? 10? 20? I’m really worried, because our “futures” look… bleak. How does crocheting fit in the “college preparation” picture? How would the knowledge of Fourier‘s principles help me pass the university that I want to get in, when the entrance exams don’t even include questions about it? “Premiere college preparatory institution”, huh? More like “premiere….*&(%&$#^%#%*^#” waaah.. I’ll stop. I haven’t graduated yet… I might get charged with libel or something. Anyway… Now… Did you know that a big percent of university degree-holders end up in jobs that have no connection whatsoever to their majors they took up in college? [It's a rhetorical question, dearie.. You don't have to answer it..] I know a bunch of people who took up some management courses, communications courses, and other stuff… and ended up in call centers. I don’t blame them, actually. You get great pay, great American English accent training, and a great, great, wicked, kick-ass headpiece.. Wow. That’s cool. The thing is, though, being in a call center is a dead-end job: there’s no more “going-up” from that position. My point: being battered to bits in high school just to end up in a University that you absolutely don’t belong to, and to get dumped in a call center isn’t very much worth it. “College preparatory” my foot!

Skinny blond teenage “pop-princesses” love to emerge in the music scene every four to five years. We first had a taste of Kylie Minogue during the 1980′s [yes, my dear young padawan, Kylie Minogue started out when she was around 16 years old, singing "~I can be so lucky, LUCKY, LUCKY, LUCKY! I can be so LUCKY IN LOOOOVE!!"in tacky pink Spandex™], the less-innocent Madonna, and a few years later, during the post-Backstreet Boys era, Britney Spears emerged from the scene. Now pretty blondie Britney got silicone implants, and five years later, a bevy of other dancing darlings burst into the industry fresh from their pretty manufactured record company boxes. We now had a dazzling dose of déjà vu as we now see Britney-wannabes in Hillary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Jojo—oh, and that last one—What’s her name again? Sarah Geronimo–though she ain’t blonde, you could practically swear that she is.

MUZAK MUZAK MUZAK: Music that made our ears bleed. Why do people love listening to that so-called “novelty music”? 2004 was such a year where we saw more of that “genre”, and no thanks to those groups like the Sexbomb Dancers, and a bunch of other “singing groups” whose names I [am extremely grateful that I] could not recall, they have sold their records and “hit singles” in this country faster than you could say “ka-ching”. Not to offend anyone, but I don’t think that these cash-churning, marketable “songs” [I'd rather call them a rhythmic sequence of arranged alternate banging, waling, and chanting] are to be considered “music” at all. Much as I abhor the—forgive the term—faggotry of senti and the madness of electronica, the very marketable novelty songs are but an abomination to Pinoy Pop Culture. We are sacrificing quality music for the sake of earning instant money. Now where is the artistry in that? I hope that 2005 would have less of those nonsensical rhythmic sequences of arranged alternate banging, wailing, and chanting.

OPM is the New Cool. I think this would be the only good thing I’m going to write about for the year 2004. I’m not a big fan of OPM. In fact, somebody once asked me if there was any OPM group/artist that I am a fan of, and I couldn’t think of a proper answer. “Uhm… Parokya ni Edgar?” I lamely replied. The great thing about this sudden boom in our local music industry is that, as Filipinos, we are starting to realize that there is so much talent in our local artists. Teenage kids get inspired and form their own bands/groups. The only thing I am quite sick of is that emerging musical genre called “Emo”. If I know my terminology correctly, “emo”, roughly is the type of music male-fronted rock/alternative acts play. “Emo” is the type of music that would have rock vocalists with pretty-boy looks, belting out songs with sugary-sweet voices, all whining about a girl. This “whining” theme ranges from wide subjects such as “she dumped me”, “she cheated on me”, and/or “I love her so damn much, but she doesn’t love me back”. Poor guys. That’s “emo” for you. I thought I liked emo, but later on, it just got so passé. That’s why emo is uncool—for me at least.

The Cycle Ends: 2004 was a year of deaths for me. In my clan, I have had a lot of relatives who died in 2004. I think my clan has reached this “peak”—this “pinnacle” of the Cycle of Life. My mom said that this is what usually happens, and the next stage of the “cycle” would be the weddings. After that would be the births… Then silence… Then death. It feels weird to realize how fragile we all really are. Suddenly, I have realized for the very first time that I am indeed
mortal; I am not like those immortal beautiful elves that I keep reading about in LotR. Damn. That surely burst my bubble.

Everybody loves a Conspiracy. The release of Dan Brown‘s highly controversial Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code late in 2003 has still sent tsunami after-shocks into 2004. The Internet became an Empire for conspiracy lovers and non-believers alike, each caught up in the eternal debate on who’s right and who’s wrong. The Church made a wrong decision by banning the book: by doing so, more and more rebellious souls purchased the books in droves; little kids devoured the book in Harry Potter proportions. My two cents’ worth of thoughts: I think the books are brilliant works of art, and it is up to the reader if s/he would be gullible enough to believe everything that is written in there. Erudite suspense-thriller novels are quite rare things these days, and Dan Brown’s novels, in my humble opinion, are a breath of fresh air from this “Candy/Meg/Whatever-senseless-teen-magazines-read-by-stupid-spineless-gullible-girls”-infested reading environment.

* * * * *

Man, I could go on and on forever… I might be boring you with my endless psychobabble. I think you get my point. 2004 was a great year, yeah. A year of ups and downs, disasters and demons, new realizations and bitter experiences: some stranger on the net asked me if I would marry him (!), I got a drivers’ license, I almost ran over an innocent passerby, gained a new cyber-stalker, made new friends, created new enemies, excelled in the art of war, and we even injured and sent two guys flying off their motorbike.

2004 is a year worth remembering, and man, am I glad that you—yes, YOU my dear beloved reader—have been a part of it.

Let’s do it again this year, kiddos!

This is D’Arvit!‘s “Kino Das Bang Bang Boom Boom 1970 Gjong-hai Ich Habe Eisen Diese Nacht Willkommen 2004″, and I hope it isn’t too late to say this, but willkommen to 2005.

PS: BIG HUGS to all who have commented/tagged on D’Arvit! ever since its launch last February. I’ll be plugging you on my next post.
